We have created the "Consequences of War" rehabilitation center, which helps those affected by armed conflict return to a full life.

Our Programmes

The Rehabilitation Centre for War Victims provides comprehensive rehabilitation programmes aimed at improving the physical, psychological and social well-being of our patients.

Sports rehabilitation

It includes physiotherapy, rowing and walrus training to restore motor activity and strengthen the body.

At our centre, we offer sports rehabilitation, which includes physical exercises and training focused on restoring physical activity and strengthening muscles. This approach aims to improve motor coordination, flexibility and increase strength. Exercise rehabilitation promotes active recovery, improves physical condition and increases the overall energy level of programme participants.

  • At our centre, rowing is included in the rehabilitation programme. This type of physical activity helps to develop muscles, improve coordination and increase stamina. Rowing can also have a psychological effect, helping to reduce stress and improve mood. By incorporating this type of exercise, we aim to provide a comprehensive recovery and support for our project participants.
People with disabilities can also take part in the programme.

  • Powerlifting is a useful element of rehabilitation after an injury. Here are some aspects that make powerlifting effective in this context:
    1. Improving muscle strength: Powerlifting involves lifting heavy weights to help strengthen muscles and improve their function.
    2. Joint stabilisation: Exercises that include powerlifting help to stabilise joints and reduce the risk of re-injury.
    3. Improved coordination and balance: Regular exercise helps improve coordination and balance, which is important for recovery from injury..
    4. Psychological aspect: Exercising and achieving new goals can improve psychological well-being and increase motivation for rehabilitation.

  • Shot put is beneficial for post-injury rehabilitation because it incorporates many elements that contribute to the recovery of muscle strength, coordination and overall physical fitness. Here are some of the aspects that make shot put effective in the rehabilitation process:
    1. Strengthening the muscles of the upper body: The shot put actively engages the muscles of the shoulder girdle, arms and back, which helps to strengthen these muscles after injuries.
    2. Development of coordination and balance: Shot put technique requires coordination and balance, which helps to improve these skills after injury.
    3. Improving flexibility and mobility: Shot put training develops joint flexibility and body mobility, which is important for rehabilitation.
    4. Cardio: Intensive shot put training can provide a good cardio workout, which contributes to an overall improvement in physical condition.
    5. Motivation: Shot put can be a fun and motivating sport, helping to maintain a positive attitude and desire to continue rehabilitation.

HORA Practice

Physical and psychological therapy, and spiritual classes.

The HORA® Practice is an innovative approach to human endurance training that incorporates not only the physical, but also the mental and intellectual aspects at the same time. The practice is designed to enable people to maintain and develop their resources in the face of the constant competition and stress of modern life.

Each HORA® exercise simultaneously trains the body, the mind (attention) and psycho-emotional stability. It is not just a physical activity, but a comprehensive exercise aimed at achieving harmony between different aspects of the personality.

This practice has become particularly popular because of its effectiveness and pragmatism. It uses simple but proven methods that allow anyone to achieve positive results without much effort. With centres around the world, HORA® is recognised as an effective tool for maintaining physical and mental health.

Educational Rehabilitation

Individualised training programmes to develop skills and readiness for inclusion in educational processes.

Our centre offers educational rehabilitation to provide opportunities for learning and skills development. We create individual training programmes tailored to the needs of each patient to help them regain or develop the skills they need for professional or personal growth. Educational rehabilitation at our centre promotes self-fulfilment and preparation for successful integration into society through education.

Friendship Rehabilitation

Creation of a supportive community where patients can have access to each other's information and support.

At our centre, we strive to create a friendly environment and therefore offer a friendship and support programme as part of our rehabilitation. Our community creates a safe and supportive environment where people can share their experiences, learn from each other and encourage each other. This approach fosters strong friendships and mutual support, which can be key elements of successful rehabilitation.

Family Rehabilitation

Programmes for the restoration and maintenance of family ties

At our centre, we recognise the importance of family relationships, which is why we offer a family rehabilitation programme. This approach aims to maintain and rebuild relationships between family members who may be stressed by the trauma of war. Family therapy and counselling help to resolve conflicts, reinforce shared values and create an optimal environment for overcoming difficulties together as a family.

Animal Rehabilitation

The use of therapy animals helps to provide emotional support and improve patient interaction.

Our centre also has an animal-assisted rehabilitation programme. The use of animals, such as therapy dogs, helps to improve the emotional state and reduce the stress levels of our programme participants. Interacting with animals can be an effective way to support psychological recovery and evoke positive emotions. Animal-assisted rehabilitation helps to create a positive and comforting environment for our patients during the recovery process.

Equine Therapy

Using contact with horses to improve physical and emotional functions.

Our centre also uses equine-assisted therapy, or therapy through contact with horses. This type of rehabilitation involves interaction with horses that can help to improve physical, emotional and social functioning. Contact with horses helps to develop coordination, muscle tone and confidence, which helps to ensure a full recovery process.

Addiction Rehabilitation

Specialised programmes for those seeking help to overcome addiction.

At our centre, we specialise in addiction rehabilitation, providing individualised and comprehensive support for people seeking to overcome addiction. Programmes include psychotherapy, group sessions, exercise and other methods aimed at restoring physical, emotional and social well-being. We strive to create a supportive environment for individuals who are beginning their journey towards long-term rehabilitation and recovery from addiction.

The centre's holistic approach makes it a place where victims of war can find support, recovery and a new start.
